 Kokuho Rose® is a proprietary variety that is meticulously bred for superior table quality.

It has a long tradition as the sushi rice of choice, but has become a mainstay in many other styles of cooking, Asian and otherwise. Often imitated, never equaled.


How to cook Sushi Rice:


1.On a kitchen stove

Ingredients:

500 gr. rice

600ml of water


Instructions:

1. Rinse the rice with cold water 2 to 3 times.

2. Put the ratio of water and rice in the pot until the water boils and then reduce the temperature to half.

3. Simmer for 15 minutes. (Don't open the lid)

4. Remove the pot from the heat and let the rice stand and steam for another 15 minutes, without opening the lid.



2.In an electric rice cooker

Ingredients

1 cup rice, washed

1 cup Water


Instructions:

1. Put the rice in a bowl and rinse with cold water 2 to 3 times.

2. Place 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of water in the electric rice cooker and press the "cook" button.

3. Once the cooking process is done, leave it closed for 10 minutes. Then open, mix carefully and it's ready to serve!



Tip: You can add your favorite rice mix, furikake, after cooking for extra flavor.
